Beijing Highlander Digital Record Technology CO., LTD. was founded in Feb. 2001, it is a High-Tech enterprise mainly invested by China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (COSCO) and Tsinghua University.
The Company focuses on electronic equipments onboard to promote the development of domestic shipping industry. The products of the company include series of Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) in compliance with international standards (type A2/B2 VDR, type S/S2 SVDR), VDRs for Chinese Navy, Protected Data Unit (PDU) and Vessel Monitoring and Management System (VMS). Among them,the VDR products have a history of 5 years. Up to now more than 500 sets of VDR have been installed on boards. The clients include many shipyards and shipping companies in China, Germany, France, Norway, Greece, Singapore, Korea etc..
Based on self-developed products, the company has successful experience in providing integrated systems of communication and navigation equipments.
Relying on the advanced technology and favorable services, the company has already become an expert supplier for ship electronic equipments. Cooperating with a famous company in Sweden, Consilium Navigation AB, a joint venture, Consilium-Highlander CO., LTD., was built up in 2004, and a production base of marine equipments has been established. At present,the base is on a reasonable scale and attracts extensive attention worldwide.
The Company's marketing and service nets spread over the whole world to provide good and efficient services to our customers.
The head office of the Company is at TsingHua Science Park, and the production base in Changping district of Beijing, and branch offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Yantai and Hongkong were established.
